Welcome to the Kapsaliana Village Hotel!  

The Kapsaliana Village Hotel is located in the prefecture of Rethymnon, Crete, 18 km from the main town, 4 km from the historical Arkadi Monastery, 75 km from the International Airport of Heraklion and 85 km from the International Airport of Chania.  

On approaching Kapsaliana you will realise that the hotel is the village itself, a fascinating group of stone buildings of Cretan and Venetian architecture, nestling in peaceful surroundings with superb views of the countryside and the sea. It is the perfect place for rest and relaxation, particularly as the whole settlement has been painstakingly renovated using natural materials to create a harmonious blend of old and new. The mixture of the traditional Cretan architecture of the houses and courtyards combined with Venetian carved stone vaults and outside staircases, make it a visually appealing compound. 

Fithteen of the original houses have been carefully converted into comfortable elegant, comfortable guest houses clustered around the old Olive Press. Seven new houses have been created to the same architecture as the original houses. Each house is individual in design and has all modern amenities within simple, tasteful interiors. All rooms/suites have king size double beds, rainfall shower bathroom, working desk, water boiler , coffee, tea selection, mini bar with Cretan delicacies, free Wi-Fi access, telephone, safe box, satellite TV, Apivita natural beauty care products, slippers, bathrobes, individually controlled A/C and central heating. Some rooms/ suites have  their own fireplace & private terrace.  

There is also a large outdoor swimming pool ( 6 x 16m) with spacious paved areas equipped with sun beds and umbrellas overlooking the olive groves and the sea. There is a snack-bar by the pool.   

At the centre of the settlement is a large stone building with outside terrace and garden square, this houses the reception & the restaurant Our A la Carte restaurant has a fireplace and specially arranged outdoor area sheltered by a pergola. The reception area includes a small sitting area.  

In the former premises of the Monastery Olive Mill and the main production area, screenings are showing the traditions, historical background and restoriation process of the traditional settlement of Kapsaliana.  

In the other three areas, next to the main area of the Olive Mill , guests can enjoy watching videos on the delivery and production of olive oil.
