Zakynthos Mountains and Sea

Zakynthos Mountains and Sea

Explore Zakynthos by bus and boat combining the splendor of the mountains with the serenity of the sea.

  • Take a boat trip to Shipwreck Beach and the Blue Caves
  • Visit an exclusive winery
  • Explore the Damianos Caves
  • Lunch at a restaurant with a fabulous sea view
The tour starts with the pickup from a pre-arranged location at approximately 10.00 and then sets off to the northern most point of the island, Skinari, from where the boat trip begins. The boat will sail to Smugglers Cove (Shipwreck Beach), where the wreck of the ship “Panayiotis” can be seen and there will be the opportunity to swim in the clear crystal waters. After it will head to the famous Blue Caves discovered in 1897. The name comes from the colour of the water in this area of the sea.
On returning to the port, the bus will then continue on to the village of Lagopodo, where the winery is located. This is a family run business in a traditional winery producing high quality varieties of wine.  There will be a guided tour of the winery and the chance to taste a selection of wines.
It is now time to head further south to explore the Damianos Caves in the village of Agala.  One striking feature of these caves is that there are two entrances, one above the other.
Finally it will be time to sit and relax for an a la carte lunch (not included in the price) at the restaurant which is located directly above the caves. Experience amazing food whilst gazing out over the unforgettable views of the sea and the mountains.
For groups of 1-8 pax the boat trip is either in an inflatable boat or a motor boat with captain.
For groups of 9-15 pax the boat trip is in a motor boat with captain.
