Walking tour Tsampika

Walking Tsambika

The
monastery Tsambika is located on a peak 340m high and is
the destination for many pilgrims. Visiting a historical place with breathtaking views, this tour is designed to be
suitable for experienced hiker.

Program

Our
tour starts from Kolymbia village from where we will walk up to
the monastery of Tsambika following a walking path until the
restaurant. After approx. 1,5 hours we reach the ruins and steps leading uphill
to the parking lot, where we will have some time to rest before we continue to
climb up the 300 steps to the monastery of Tsambika. After lighting a candle, we start to
walk down over the rocks towards Tsambika beach, where we can finish our tour
having a swim in the crystal-clear water before picked up and transferred back
to the hotel.

Distance of the tour is 9 km and
the duration approximately 4-5 hours

Return time: 17.00 – 17:30 Depanding the hotel
