VAI EXOTIC PALM FOREST BEACH BUS

We visit the exotic beach in Vai for swimming and
later Hiona, an equally beautiful and quiet beach for swimming and eating just
a few kilometers down the road from the palm forest.

The route lasts three hours with alternating scenery of the
Northern-Eastern coasts of Crete, through seaside villages and its interior. 
We cross the mountains and stop at a local cafe from where you can enjoy the
view of the Northern Cretan Sea. We make a short stop at an old monastery (Moni
Toplu) close to our final destination, where you can observe a medieval –
Byzantine monastery. Here, the monks produce and sell famous traditional
agricultural products such as wine, honey and olive oil.
